Here’s volume 3 of Jesse Plays to help cure the Monday Blues. One of my fav new discoveries recently is this brunette bombshell Due Lipa. She’s drop dead gorgeous and sounds like a goddess. Check out her song “Blow Your Mind (Mwuah)” and the equally chic af music video. Other highlights on this playlist are my fellow Vanderpump Rules cast mate and singer Lauren Chavez on her new single with Mike Vincent “Tonight Will Never End”…this remix gives me life. So happy for my babes. I’ve also got Zara Larsson’s “Ain’t My Fault (R3hab Remix)” on intense replay as well. And my one of my fav artists from this year’s Life Is Beautiful Festival lineup in Las Vegas Bishop Briggs “Pray (Empty Gun)” gives me the major chills. I discovered them on the latest season of Scream The TV Show (unapologetically obsessed) and as I was dancing in the grass at the festival heard it playing live not knowing who she was and her whole set blew my f*cking mind. Get with Bishop Briggs.

This collab with Creative Recreation was so much fun to do and shoot with Marley Cumbee. I recently featured the other shoe The Deross that was released for their fall collection on the blog and here you have another slice of sole heaven from the collection called The Castucci. I’m always a fan of a sleek black and white sneaker and this shoe has a nice sense of versatility to it because of it’s sporty/dressy hybrid design. You can take this shoe from the basketball court to the cocktail lounge depending on how you dress with it. Pair them with a nice pair of joggers during the day or black skinnys, chinos or even dress pants for a night out on the town. I love versatility and The Castucci wins major. It comes in black white or black olive. Shredded Skinny Stretch Jeans by Topman AAA. King Cut Shirt by Tribe Kelley. Arrow Pendant Necklace by Topman. Classic Sheffield Watch by Daniel Wellington.

Love love love a little throwback. Anything that brings me back to the halcyon days of the 90s brings bliss to my heart. Guess has just launched their latest fall capsule collection Guess Originals. Everything is detailed with vintage Guess designs with a modern day fit with modern fabrics. I’m all about good fit. I love good vintage pieces for all their novelty and glory but sometimes I have to get them custom tailored (not a bad thing) to fit me just right. This collection comes ready to wear, and the fit is lit. I’ve got a couple pieces on my way and I can’t wait to add them to my collection. I’m living for the shearling jacket, the white tee with the vintage guess logo, the oversized Los Angeles denim jacket, and the carpenter jeans. The t-shirts, two pairs of jeans and 2 of the denim jackets are available now. The rest will be out in the next coming weeks. Check out the rest of this fantastical collection below:

You may or may not know that I am also a hairstylist here in Beverly Hills at hollywood hot spot Meche Salon. I specialize in cuts, extensions, straightening and styling. Come see me and let’s make love to your hair by booking an appointment here. I love working on set, editorial, film, music, movies, fashion…it’s all so exciting and every project brings a different team together. Collaboration is amazing and meeting new artists and talents are too, so it’s the perfect opportunity for art to happen. This editorial for Astonish Magazine featuring my close friend and actress Natalie Alyn Lind was so much fun to style. You may recognize this angel from ABC’s “The Goldberg’s” and FOX’s “Gotham” (She plays young Batman’s GF Silver St. Cloud <3). All the wardrobe is Madem Black and styled and designed by Jessica Huerta. Makeup by another amazingly talented friend of mine Ashley Gomila who is known for working with some of my favs Iggy Azalea and Banks. Ashley used Kevin Aucoin for all these looks and my go to product line for the hair was Oribe. #Oribe4ever. Seriously obsessed. Especially with their Dry Texture Spray. It will sex your hair up immediately and make any limp, boring freshly washed and dried hair come to life. And the scent was created by Givaudan who creates all the delicious scents you’ve smelled from Calvin Klein to Tom Ford. It’s like parfum for your hair and it’s divine. Photos by Rick Craft.

I did a collab this summer for Creative Recreation to launch their new fall line. The first of two I will share is my fav of the bunch: THE DEROSS. It’s a versatile, fashionable running inspired low top that is so comfy, you can take it from the gym to the streets and everywhere else. It comes in red, navy, charcoal and black white dot mesh. These are seriously so comfortable and the sports mesh lining really give you amazing breathability. This series was shot by Marley Cumbee.

Finding time to binge on new music is hard sometimes but I find the best times for me are either while working out, doing chores around the house or commuting.  My latest binge was brought to me by an urge to redo my bedroom, so I spent 6 hours in the middle of the night repainting my bedroom with stark white walls and matte black trim on all the framework on my windows.  I’ll post a bedroom tour soon. Not only does my room feel and look amazing, but I discovered a handful of new artists I can’t wait to share with you in this playlist.  Couldn’t resist throwing in some new tracks from some of my favorite artists BANKS, MIIKE SNOW and SOLANGE KNOWLES FEAT. SAMPHA.

V excited to share with my 2nd single that was just released on Itunes, Spotify, Apple Music and everywhere else. This is the 2nd song I wrote that will also be available on my upcoming debut EP due out later this October. The song was produced by Johnny James and Artem. Since my breakup last summer, I’ve been through quite the rollercoaster of emotions and growth. This upcoming album embodies every ounce and moment of that journey and I can’t wait to share it with you all. Thank you for listening, supporting and loving me as much as I love you. Enjoy and do me a fave by following me on Spotify.

October is officially here and I couldn’t be more excited. I love Halloween, and all the haunted house around the Los Angeles area keep raising the bar year after year. Hoping to hit Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights, Knottscary Farms, The Queen Mary and more in the next couple weeks.

Tis the season for pumpkin everything. I had a craving for a french omelette I had at Ludo Lefebvre’s Petit Trois here in LA and decided to run to the store to make it at home for my sister and I. The pumpkin products at Whole Foods and Trader Joes were everywhere…and I ain’t mad. So when I stumbled upon Montchevre Pumpkin Goat Cheese from Whole Foods…of course I decided to modify my recipe for the October season. I sauteed some shitaake mushrooms in garlic and voila…an omelette fit for October. Try it out and let me know what you think!

2 large eggs
2 tablespoons butter of your choice
Garlic salt
Freshly ground white pepper
1 ounce Montchevre pumpkin goat cheese
1 tablespoon finely chopped chives

1 pack of shitaake mushrooms
1 tbsp minced garlic

Whisk eggs until well combined, until no strands of egg whites remain. Heat 1 tbsp of butter in an 8″ non stick pan over medium heat. When butter begins to foam (not sizzle) add eggs and season with salt. I like to use a rubber spatula for omelettes cause it’s easier to control. Stir the eggs quickly, constantly moving in a figure 8 motion scraping down the sides of the skillet to avoid dry bits. The key is to keep everything evenly cooking. Making the perfect omelette isn’t a marathon, slow and steady FTW. As soon as the eggs begin to coagulate (about 2 minutes), shake the pan to evenly distribute any uncooked egg. Keep stirring and moving pan in a circular motion until eggs are cooked through on the bottom, but still kinda runny on top or as the french call it “baveuse” . Remove pan from heat and let it sit for a minute to help the omelette breathe and keep it’s smooth texture. Spoon dollops of cheese down the center of the omelette. Add the other tablespoon of butter to the pan as you fold the omelette in 1 ½” intervals using the spatula and eventually roll it out on a plate. The butter will help the omelette literally roll off the still warm pan. You can rub a bit of butter on top of the omelette to make it nice and shiny and finish off with the chopped chives for a garnish. If you wanna try the mushrooms I made I heated up 2 tablespoons of butter in a skillet, added a tablespoon of minced garlic and sauteed the mushrooms for a bout 5 minutes on medium heat.

Bon appetite bbs.

Music has and always will be my main source of inspiration. Growing up in small town Missoula, Montana, I would spend countless hours and nights scouring the internet for anything new, old, fresh, classic etc to get my fix. Sharing new music thrills me even more, and my friends are always asking for recommendations all the time. And if you haven’t heard my latest single I just released, I’ve conveniently added it to the playlist. I hope you love it as much as I do. Come back every Monday for my favorite songs of the week.

Love U lots.
